Past President of ICAN, Alhajai Ismaila Zakari,mni, FCA, Elected to Lead APBN: A Legacy of Excellence Continues

Alh. Ismaila M. Zakari, MNI, FCA, has been elected President of the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN). A distinguished leader, he previously served as the President and Chairman of the Governing Council of ICAN 2017/ 2018 Presidential Year and was a Council Member for 15 years, from 2004 to 2019. Throughout his tenure, he played a pivotal role in advancing the accounting profession, chairing numerous ICAN committees and task forces, including Professional Examinations, Finance & General Purposes, Professional Ethics, and the Accountants’ Disciplinary Tribunal. We wish him continued success in his new role.
